The Military Leadership Program at Westminster University
The Military Leadership minor integrates courses from the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program for each branch of service (Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marine Corps). By studying a range of electives, Westminster teaches future military officers how to develop skills as ethical leaders who understand the historical and social contexts in which US military forces operate.
Who the Military Leadership Program Is For
The Military Leadership minor is designed to help ROTC cadets enrich military training through Westminster’s focus on liberal and professional education.

- Application of leadership concepts to plan, communicate, and implement training, motivate personnel, and direct military operations

Military Leadership Program Plan of Study
In addition to the courses required by the military branch core, you’ll be able to focus your electives on history, ethics, politics, justice, or leadership. Westminster also allows military electives to apply to both WCore and major requirements. This allows you greater flexibility in meeting elective requirements while engaging in leadership through additional contexts.
