France: It's that Beautiful and Amazing

Immerse yourself in French culture in one of 2 (or BOTH!) lively French cities. The IPSL Program in Nice, places you right on the gorgeous southern coast of the Mediterranean Sea. This region of temperate and friendly southern France has long been a crossroads for European, Mediterranean and North African culture and civilizations. Spend as long as you wish studying French language, culture, civilization, and social issues at our partner Institute in the heart of the city.

For an utterly different experience, immerse yourself in the centrally located city of Lyon where the Rhône and Saône rivers meet, which just happens to be the gastronomical capital of France. Bring your appetite and savor French living.

Courses in French language are taught at five different levels, from beginning to advanced along with fun optional workshops on French wine and cuisine, French cinema, popular culture and more.

In addition to your studies, you could live with a French family, serve in a local NGO or community organization, and explore the region through excursions. Your volunteer service immerses you in the culture and deepens your understanding of French society in a way that goes beyond that experienced in traditional study abroad programs. It also facilitates your mastery of French.

The IPSL program is designed to help you understand the diverse populations and cultures of this region.
